Il Ministero della Salute ceco ha pubblicato sul suo sito web, le cinque fasi di allentamento dei provvedimenti contro la diffusione dell’epidemia Covid-19. La situazione epidemiologica viene valutata su una scala a punti da 0 a 100. Il punteggio viene determinato da quattro variabili:
- Il numero dei contagi negli ultimi 14 giorni per 100.000 abitanti.
- Il numero dei contagi tra gli anziani.
- Il numero di riproduzione di base.
- La quota di test postivi su quelli effettuati.
Il punteggio verrà pubblicato ogni giorno.
Il sistema PES prevede cinque fasce di pericolo:
- Verde, se il punteggio va da 0 a 20.
- Giallo, se il punteggio va da 21 a 40.
- Arancione, se il punteggio va da 41 a 60.
- Rosso, se il punteggio va da 61 a 75.
- Viola, se il punteggio va da 76 a 100.
Le prime tre fasce (60 punti e meno) prevedono restrizioni più lievi, mentre nelle ultime due fasce (61 punti e più) scattano le chiusure forzate di bar e ristoranti, musei, negozi con beni non essenziali, forti limitazioni alla didattica in presenza e divieto di circolazione notturna. Il passaggio tra un livello e l’altro non sarà automatico ma dovrà essere decretato dal governo.
Il sistema rimane in vigore solo nel periodo in cui è dichiarato lo stato d’emergenza, quindi al momento fino al 12 dicembre.

The Czech Ministry of Health has published on its website, the five stages of measures relaxation against the spread of the Covid-19 pandemic. The epidemiological situation shall be assessed on a point scale from 0 to 100. The score is determined by four variables:
- The number of infections in the last 14 days per 100,000 inhabitants.
- The number of infections among the elderly.
- The reproduction number.
- The proportion of positive tests out of all tests.
The score will be published every day.
The PES system provides five danger zones:
- Green, if the score goes from 0 to 20.
- Yellow, if the score goes from 21 to 40.
- Orange, if the score goes from 41 to 60.
- Red, if the score goes from 61 to 75.
- Purple, if the score goes from 76 to 100.
The first three bands (60 points and less) will represent lighter restrictions, while the last two bands (61 points and more) will trigger the forced closures of pubs, restaurants, museums, shops with non-essential goods, as well as strong limitations to in school teaching and prohibition of night circulation.
The transition from one level to another will not be automatic but will have to be decreed by the government.
The system remains in force only during the period in which the state of emergency is declared, then at the moment until 12 December.
