From Monday, Germany, the Portuguese island of Madeira, and the Spanish Balearic Islands will be included in the red category of countries at risk in relation to the Covid-19 pandemic. It was announced on Friday by the Ministry of Health. For people who are not vaccinated or who have not had a disease recently, this means a more complicated procedure on arrival in the Czech Republic.
Low-risk journeys
Low-risk countries (green category) will include Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Hungary, Poland, Romania, Slovakia, Serbia, and Vatican City State. From non-European countries, Australia, Brunei, Hong Kong, Japan, Jordan, Korea, Canada, Qatar, Macao, New Zealand, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, or Taiwan. On the other hand, medium-risk countries will include Croatia, Luxembourg, Latvia, Austria, Italy, Finland, Malta, Norway, the Netherlands, San Marino, and Slovenia. For both these categories it is necessary to fill in the arrival form (the so-called PLF) on re-entry.
